Just like Gerard and her entire family, Stefanie lives in Warmenhuizen.  She studied for industrial engineering, but converted her passion for horses into work. Stefanie also went to the Orun Acadamy for instruction dressage. She trained multiple horses at Small Tour and went to competition with them. Stefanie focuses on the guidance, training and sales of sport horses.

Gerard and Stefanie both live in Warmenhuizen, where their whole family comes from. Gerard, officially a marketing manager, took care of the finance at Koks Group. That time, Gerard rode three horses in the ZZ-Licht. Now he’s stopped participating in the competitions and only rides a young jazz. Gerard also guides the breeding program and makes the stallion choices.  

About 10 years ago Gerard & Stefanie got the opportunity to take over the company. At that time the Debbehoeve was a boarding stable, whilst the Debbehoeve now got their main focus on breeding, training and trading. And that’s what they want in the future too: breeding only with the best mares.

Tommy Ernst comes from Australia, near Sydney. He started his career as a technical welder with a great passion for horses and everything around it. Two years ago, Tommy was looking for a stable to house his horses in North-Holland. Because of the distance it didn’t work out at that moment.

Six months later Tommy received a phone call from Gerard: asking if he would like to work at Debbehoeve. “Of course I said yes. I love dressage now. I take care of breaking the young horses at the Debbehoeve.” In Australia Tommy participated in many equestrian sports, including polo sports, polo cross and rodeo. “Since I moved to Europe a few years ago, I worked for half a year at Schockemoehle in Germany, where I backed a lot of horses.”
